The decline in iPhone demand has caused the market to worry that the entire supply chain will be dragged down. Foxconn, which is mainly responsible for the OEM production of iPhone and other products for Apple, has the biggest impact, but the company recently issued a statement saying that the decline in demand for orders including the iPhone will not It has a significant impact on the company’s performance and hopes to restore market confidence.

According to Foxconn’s statement, the recent development of the market, customer orders may undergo some changes but will be fluctuating for all orders, after comprehensive consideration and evaluation, the impact on the company is limited.

In the first quarter of 2019 released by Foxconn earlier, the net profit fell by 17.7% compared with the same period of 2018, and the performance was not as good as expected. At present, Foxconn’s customer base includes Dell, Sony and Apple, including smartphones and laptops. Market analysts pointed out that the main reason for Foxconn’s profit decline was that Apple’s iPhone demand fell and sales were not as expected.

According to Apple’s quarterly results, iPhone revenue in the first quarter of 2019 was $31 billion, down from $37.6 billion in the same period in 2018.
