Trump Xi Jinping

US President Trump said on Monday (10th) that he accepted a telephone interview with CNBC’s “Squawk Box” program, saying that China will reach an agreement with the United States “because they need it.”

During his visit, he pointed out that if the Chinese President Xi Jinping does not go to the G20 Summit at the end of the month, the tariff rate for China’s imports into the United States will increase immediately.

Trump accepted CNBC’s exclusive visit and pointed out that China’s currency depreciation is something that needs to be dealt with because it leads to unfair competition.

He once again publicly stated that Huawei may be part of the China-US trade agreement.
