The renminbi weakened in the afternoon, of which the FOB price was as low as 6.8762, down 392 points from today’s high, and the latest 6.8702, down 93 points.

Onshore prices fell by 441 points from the high, low to 6.8755, the latest reported 6.8707, down 201 points.

The Hong Kong dollar also strengthened against the renminbi. The price per 100 Hong Kong dollars against the renminbi was 88.02, the latest report was 87.98, up 32 points.

Recently, the yuan strengthened, and the central parity opened 333 pips this morning. Since then, both onshore and FOB prices have risen above 6.84, and then turned up to down.
