india electric vehicle

According to Reuters quoted sources, the Indian government asked the motorcycle factory to submit a motorization transformation plan within two weeks and has already met with motorcycle manufacturers such as Bajaj Auto and Hero MotoCorp.

Currently, the Indian government is considering a plan for traffic cleanliness. Under the new policy, suppliers of car rides must ensure that 40% of their fleets are electric vehicles by 2026. Starting in 2025, all motorcycles with a displacement of more than 150 cc must be converted into electric vehicles.

Some car manufacturers warned that the new policy will lead to layoffs and market disruption. But the Indian government has emphasized that policies can help reduce environmental pollution and reduce the need for imported fuel.
