US President Donald Trump said on August 9 that he received a letter from North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on the 8th, describing it as a “very beautiful letter.” He also said that he might meet Kim Jong-un again.
Trump met the reporter on the same day, but he did not point out where or when the next “Special Gold Club” will be held.
He also talked about the relationship between Japan and South Korea. He said that Japan and South Korea “need to get along”.
North Korea has recently tested missiles or rockets in succession, but Donald Trump has not been angry, but instead defended North Korea. He posted on social networking sites on August 2 that Kim Jong-un did not violate the promises made to the US, and also referred to Kim Jong-un.
