Aircraft maker Boeing’s 737 MAX aircraft suffered hundreds of deaths in October 2018 and in March 2019, killing hundreds of people. Several airlines later announced that the aircraft was grounded. Boeing has updated the aircraft software to get the aircraft back in flight, but found new problems in the new software.

Boeing pointed out that during the process of updating the aircraft’s software last week, a new software-related issue was discovered and the situation is currently being evaluated.

Boeing pointed out on Friday (17th) that the necessary software update procedure was carried out last week. During the opening of multiple screens, one of the screens did not start correctly, and pointed out that the cause of the accident was being adjusted.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) did not respond to media-related enquiries.
