The Global Wealth Forum has officially appointed Paul Tungwarara to its esteemed International Council, recognizing his influence as a visionary business leader and his commitment to driving economic transformation in Zimbabwe and beyond.

Tungwarara’s inclusion in the Forum’s leadership reflects its mission to strengthen global investment networks and foster wealth creation, particularly across Africa. With a track record in high-impact investment and business strategy, he is set to play a pivotal role in shaping key initiatives that promote financial growth and market expansion.

His appointment comes with an even greater opportunity—Tungwarara has been shortlisted for election as Chairman of the SADC region. If elected, he will spearhead efforts to deepen the Forum’s presence in Southern Africa, advocating for sustainable investment, entrepreneurship, and wealth-building opportunities.

A Zimbabwean entrepreneur based in Dubai, Tungwarara is the founder and chairman of Prevail International Group, a diversified conglomerate with interests spanning construction, mining, shipping, and borehole drilling. He has been instrumental in spearheading national development initiatives in Zimbabwe, including the Presidential Borehole Scheme, the Presidential Internet Scheme, and the Home Industries and Solar Scheme.

Beyond infrastructure and development, Tungwarara is also making strides in digital finance as the founder of Talk and Pay, Zimbabwe’s first locally owned social media and financial transaction platform. His expertise in high-level investment facilitation has seen him serve as a Presidential Investment Advisor, where he played a key role in securing the $500 million Cyber City project in collaboration with Dubai billionaire Shaji Ul Mulk.

In addition, Tungwarara is leading the launch of the Presidential War Veterans Fund and the Presidential Youth Fund, initiatives aimed at empowering key sectors of Zimbabwe’s society.

His leadership and investment acumen have earned him international recognition, including being named the Overall Top Investor in the Diaspora at the 2024 Africa Investment Leaders Forum and Awards.

The Global Wealth Forum, known for curating one of the most powerful networks of High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), has ambitious plans to expand its reach. Currently, its database includes 21 billionaires and 131 millionaires, with a projected combined net worth of $500 billion USD by 2028. Through this network, the Forum aims to foster global collaborations, mentorship programs, and financial literacy initiatives.

With Tungwarara now among its elite leadership, the Forum is poised to make an even greater impact on investment trends and economic growth across Africa and beyond.
