Introduction to Emirates’ Airbus A350-900 Expansion
Emirates has announced an expansion of its Airbus A350-900 operations, with the aircraft set to serve new destinations across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia throughout 2025. The airline introduced the A350-900 to commercial service in early January and will gradually expand its network using this aircraft.
New Destinations for the A350-900
Starting from June 1, 2025, the Airbus A350-900 will operate flights from Dubai (DXB) to Tunis (TUN), Tunisia, and Amman (AMM), Jordan. The following month, on July 1, flights to Istanbul (IST), Turkey, and Dammam (DMM), Saudi Arabia, will commence. The network expansion continues on August 1, when the aircraft will begin flights to Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), Vietnam, followed by Baghdad (BGW), Iraq, on August 3. Oslo (OSL), Norway, is scheduled to be added to the A350-900 network on September 1.
Additional Route Expansions
Apart from these seven destinations, Emirates has confirmed that the Airbus A350-900 will also be introduced on flights to Bahrain (BAH), Kuwait (KWI), and Bologna (BLQ), Italy, increasing connectivity for passengers traveling to and from these cities.
Airbus A350-900 Cabin Configuration
The Emirates Airbus A350-900 features a three-class configuration, accommodating up to 312 passengers. The aircraft offers 32 seats in Business Class, 21 in Premium Economy, and 259 in Economy Class. This layout is designed to enhance comfort and provide a modern travel experience across all service classes.
