This May, the Cannes Film Festival 2025 will spotlight a groundbreaking cinematic experience as Devy Man premieres his internationally acclaimed short film The Three Gates of Wisdom. Presented through a collaboration between the Royale Gentlemen Congress Awards and the Cannes International AI Film Awards, the event is part of the newly established Congress AI Film Awards — a platform that honors artistic brilliance shaped by innovation and impact.
The Three Gates of Wisdom is a modern parable brought to life entirely with a smartphone. Inspired by a story from psychologist Charles Brulhart, the film follows a young prince on a transformative journey through three stages: the desire to change the world, the effort to change others, and finally, the realization that change begins within. With its minimalist approach and philosophical message, the film has already captured multiple awards across global film festivals.
The premiere will take place on May 22, 2025, and is set to be a vibrant, full-day celebration:
- 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Screening and networking at the Gray d’Albion Hotel
- 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Gala dinner, fashion show, and live music — including a featured opera performance — at the scenic Majestic Barrière Beach Riviera
- 10:00 PM – 3:00 AM: Afterparty beneath the stars at the Beach Club on the French Riviera
The night will also honor notable recipients of the Congress and AI Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions in cinema, creativity, technology, and philanthropy. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to charitable and cultural programs supporting global communities.
Devy Man — filmmaker, composer, designer, and activist — has long used his art to advocate for peace, human rights, and cultural understanding. From his early music career in Lille to his current global collaborations, including with Peace Jam and Nobel Prize laureates, his work continues to bridge storytelling and social purpose.
As The Three Gates of Wisdom debuts at Cannes, audiences are invited to experience a film that redefines what’s possible with modern tools — and reminds us that true transformation begins within.
