Each year, May 1st brings people together in celebration of peace, labor, and love. In Munich, this day has found new life through the charitable initiative Teplyi Dom by Anya, now marking its fourth anniversary. Founded by Anna Stukkert and supported by an exceptional team of women — Klara Pecherskaya, Tatyana Sazonova, and Lyudmila Sipilina — the project creates a space where senior citizens gather to share culture, warmth, and meaningful connection.
Theatre That Transforms: “Hallelujah of Love” Premiere
This year’s central event was the moving premiere of Hallelujah of Love, an original theatrical work written and directed by Tatyana Sazonova from Odesa. With a powerful theme of redemption and the triumph of love over darkness, the play captivated the audience and delivered a universal message of transformation.

The emotional peak came as the Angel turned Satan into a radiant human being, gifting him a bright red heart painting as the aria “Hallelujah of Love” from Juno and Avos echoed through the hall — a moment that left many deeply moved.
A Celebration Full of Life
In addition to the theatrical performance, the event featured music, traditional food, poetry readings, and dancing. A highlight was Alexandra Zalevskaya’s stirring dance “Keep Going and Never Give Up,” performed from her wheelchair — a powerful testament to strength and joy in adversity.
Giving Across Generations
For the first time, the celebration included a fundraising campaign for Ukrainian orphans — initiated and led by the seniors themselves. This heartfelt act of generosity from the elder community toward the youngest in need added a profound layer of meaning to the day.
A Home for Warmth and Togetherness
Teplyi Dom by Anya is more than a project — it’s a movement built on kindness, connection, and the belief that caring never grows old. The team continues to open their arms to all who believe in the power of human warmth to heal and inspire.
