Xi Jinping: China and the United States are both wounded and hurt
Xi Jinping first spoke at the meeting, referring to the 40-year friendship between China and the United States, and expressed hope for a peaceful outcome. Trump later said that he has a good relationship with Xi Jinping, but we want to do some trade-related things, which I think is actually very easy to do. He said that he has been with Xi Jinping for a long time. “We have become friends. My trip to Beijing with my family is one of the best things in my life. I think today will be a fruitful talk.”
He mentioned that the Sino-US trade negotiations in the 11th round of China and the United States ended without results. Trump said that the two sides “have been very close (achieving the goal), but there have been some things that have made the progress slightly backward, but now we It is close to some.”
Trump said that if the two countries can reach a trade agreement, it will be “historic”; however, he did not release the signal that he will make concessions and the results that the two sides may reach today, and refused to answer questions from the media about Huawei.
