53% of British companies worry that immigration plan will have a negative impact after Brexit

British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) and recruitment website Indeed announced that the results of the company’s survey on the Brexit immigration system show that 53% of respondents believe that the minimum wage threshold for skilled workers outside the EU will apply to all immigrants after Brexit. Workers will have a negative impact on them.

57% of respondents indicated that the government plans to implement 12-month work and residence restrictions for low-skilled workers. Indeed’s analyst Pawel Adrjan said work and residency restrictions make it increasingly difficult for companies to hire workers with the right skills, and employees in the healthcare and construction industries need more flexibility.

The survey was conducted from April 29 to May 16, and visited 380 companies.
