China Telecom (0728) issued an announcement stating that Ke Ruiwen has been appointed as Executive Director, President and Chief Operating Officer Ke Ruiwen. The appointment has been effective from today to the 2019 Annual General Meeting of the Company in 2020.
Ke Ruiwen pointed out that he holds a doctorate degree in business administration from the Rennes School of Business in France. He has served as deputy director of the Jiangxi Provincial Post and Telecommunications Administration, deputy general manager of Jiangxi Telecom Corporation, China Telecom and the manager of the marketing department of China Telecom Group. He is currently the chairman of China Telecom Group and has extensive experience in management and telecommunications industry.
