The British “Sunday Times” reported that if the British House of Commons is unable to pass the new Brexit agreement this week, the EU will extend the Brexit deadline to February 2020.

The report quoted diplomatic sources as saying that the extension of time is flexible. If the UK can leave the EU earlier by agreement, the time for Brexit can be earlier, such as December or January.

The report said that the EU will continue to wait and see, the EU will not make any decision before assessing the opportunity for the Brexit agreement to be passed in the British Parliament.

EU officials said on the 20th that they will extend the deadline option depending on the latest development of the Brexit agreement in the UK. It can be extended by one month to six months, or even longer.
