Liver King Ordered to Undergo Mental Health Evaluation

1 min read

Following a series of bizarre outbursts and alleged threats toward podcast host Joe Rogan, controversial fitness influencer Brian Johnson, better known as the Liver King, has been ordered to undergo a full mental health evaluation as part of ongoing legal proceedings.

The court ruling comes after prosecutors presented evidence of increasingly erratic behavior, including aggressive social media rants, disturbing voice messages, and confrontational videos directed at Rogan and others. According to legal sources, Johnson’s mental state has become a “matter of concern” for both authorities and those close to him.

Pattern of Unstable Behavior

The Liver King’s public spiral began after he was exposed for lying about his use of anabolic steroids despite claiming his muscular physique was the result of natural eating and primal discipline. The backlash was swift, but rather than stepping away from the spotlight, Johnson doubled down—posting intense rants, issuing bizarre challenges, and reportedly attempting to confront Rogan in person.

Court documents allege that Johnson has displayed paranoid and delusional thinking, believing he is the target of a conspiracy to destroy his empire.

The court-mandated evaluation will be conducted by licensed psychiatric professionals to determine whether Johnson is mentally fit to stand trial and to assess whether his actions stem from a diagnosable mental illness. Depending on the results, this evaluation could impact the severity of his charges and influence sentencing outcomes.

Decline of a Fitness Empire

Liver King was once a multimillion-dollar brand built on masculinity, ancestral living, and raw organ meats. But his empire has crumbled under scandal, legal investigations, and growing public distrust. Sponsors have pulled out, sales of his supplement line have collapsed, and his audience has shrunk.

What’s Next?

Johnson is expected to attend additional court hearings in the coming weeks. If deemed unfit for trial, he could be placed under medical supervision. If found competent, he will face criminal charges for harassment, stalking, and making threats.

The mental health evaluation may be the last opportunity for Liver King to rebuild some form of public trust—or at the very least, begin a path toward personal accountability and recovery.
