PORTO CERVO, Italy, July 2026 – The definition of luxury has shifted. Scarcity of product no longer carries the weight it once did, and affluent audiences increasingly measure value by what cannot be repeated rather than what can be purchased. That shift has created room for a category of event where entertainment, hospitality and cultural programming are built as a single piece of work, and Big Art Festival has become one of the clearest examples of the model in practice.
On August 9, 2026, Romazzino, A Belmond Hotel, set above the water of the Costa Smeralda, will host the festival for a second consecutive year. The evening centres on the hotel's pool terrace, where guests will be seated for dinner before the programme turns to its headline act, a live performance by Robbie Williams.
The Porto Cervo edition arrives as Big Art Festival marks its fifth anniversary. Founded by Maxim Berin, CEO of Berin Iglesias Art, the festival has spent those years building an audience of entrepreneurs, family offices, cultural figures and international guests who treat an evening of this kind as an experience rather than a night out.
Williams gives the programme its centre of gravity. Three decades into a career that has produced more than 85 million records sold worldwide and a catalogue that has outlived several cycles of popular taste, he remains among the most recognisable performers of his generation. Playing to a private room rather than a stadium changes the arithmetic of the evening, and the proximity between artist and audience becomes the point.

The night has been structured as a sequence rather than a single event. Guests arrive for cocktails as the sun drops over the Mediterranean, move through a gala dinner, and reach the headline performance with the pacing deliberately controlled from the first hour onward.
Chopard occupies a defined role in that sequence. The jewellery and watchmaking Maison, long associated with red-carpet presentation and the international art de vivre, extends a standing partnership with the festival and will stage a fashion show during dinner service, pairing its Haute Joaillerie pieces with silhouettes from Caroline's Couture in a presentation built around craftsmanship rather than spectacle.
DENZA, the premium marque within the BYD Group, joins as the evening's automotive partner. The brand has positioned itself around intelligent luxury mobility, combining engineering, design and comfort, and will use the Porto Cervo edition to present that reading of contemporary premium to the festival's audience.

Music runs through the evening as a continuous thread rather than a series of separate acts. Saxophonist Max Merseny opens the atmosphere with his own sound, followed by the Esteriore Brothers, the Italian ensemble known for setting classic national melodies against a contemporary arrangement and a strong stage presence. Their set carries the character of the host country into a room full of international guests.
DJ Katty Leen closes the programme, carrying the gala into a late night session under the Mediterranean sky.
Eleonora Incardona, one of Italy's most recognisable television and sports presenters, hosts the gala. Her role is to move guests through each chapter of the evening, and her presence reinforces both the Italian character of the setting and the international register the festival works in.
"Robbie Williams in Porto Cervo is far more than a concert. We are creating a world-class immersive experience where every element, from the arrival and the dinner to fashion, music and gastronomy, becomes part of one emotional story. Today, the opportunity to experience an artist of Robbie Williams' calibre in such an intimate setting is exceptionally rare. Our ambition has always been to create moments that remain with our guests long after the evening ends," said Maxim Berin, CEO Berin Iglesias Art and Founder Big Art Festival.
Five years into its expansion, the festival's return to Costa Smeralda reads as a statement about where experiential luxury is heading. By assembling globally recognised performers, established brand partners and a hospitality setting of this calibre in one of Europe's most identifiable summer destinations, Big Art Festival continues to argue that the experience itself, rather than the guest list, is the asset.
