The American Medical Association on November 19 called for a total ban on all e-cigarettes and heating devices, hoping to lobby the US authorities to impose a ban on e-cigarettes.
The American Medical Association points out that the number of young people and minors who use e-cigarettes has soared. These products usually heat the solution containing nicotine and damage their health.
The Society also stated that the recent outbreak of suspected e-cigarette-related lung disease in the United States is also one of the reasons why the organization has prompted the authorities to take action. Most patients claim that their products contain the cannabis component THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).
The American Medical Association had previously sought a ban on e-cigarette tastes and advertising. They have now banned the use of e-cigarette products that are not approved to help people quit smoking, but some experts believe that this is almost impossible.
In the United States, San Francisco, New York, and Massachusetts have successively implemented banned electronic cigarette bans. In addition, schools and parents have successively litigated the e-cigarette industry leader Juul Labs Inc.
