The core technology used to develop 6G mobile networks.
The next-generation communications research center will be the largest organizational unit for Samsung Research, and the existing organizations include the AI Center and the Robot Center. The center is said to be comprised of a 6G research team, a cutting-edge solutions team, and a standards research team.
A related person from Samsung Electronics said that this adjustment is to strengthen the function and role of the research organization of mobile communication pilot technology and standards in line with the expansion of 5G commercialization services.
